Ladies & Gentlemen … start your engines for a fun & exciting weekend. And thank you for joining & adding your car & enthusiasm to this tour. We have a couple of new items this year to share and some good information which will make your attendance that much more fun. Regarding the route, not any major changes other than some road work on the west side of Prescott so just drive it slower and all should be well. Thanks to Lance Johnson for driving the route and reporting back on the road work. Also, be sure and take a bunch of pictures and share your media cards Saturday night and Sunday morning so we can all see the tour from your perspective. I want to thank Bob Branton for volunteering to drive the “Chase Vehicle” and assisting with any breakdowns. Remember, if Bob needs to place your vehicle on the trailer he will transport you to the next safe location on the route going forward & drop you off there. Also, any spare parts, gas or oil he provides will need to be paid for, directly to Bob. Also new this year is Mike DoLimpio, the new business owner of Delta Motorsports. Please welcome Mike to our group and next time you need some car parts just give Mike a call so check out his rally book ad. Another new business this year is 777 Customs Restorations. Check out their ad and give Peter Giacomello a call. Another long time participant is Gregory Nel and his firm British Automotive Repair. Check out Greg’s ad and website listed on the inside back cover. We always appreciate Mike Silverman from Vintage Motorsports. Check out the magazines Mike has provided. But now let’s get serious and talk about lunch in Prescott. We’ve added a new restaurant this year and Janice & I think you will be very pleased with having lunch at Rosa’s. Yes, it’s two blocks off of “Whiskey Row”, west on Gurley, but well worth the walk. I could go on and on about the appetizers Saturday night but with you there, that event will then be complete. Also, individual car / driver pictures will be taken at Little America on the south side of the hotel starting around 4:30pm.
